Meet Britain’s Fastest Skier at The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Show on The SkiA Ski Trainer Stand

Jan Farrell, Britain’s fastest skier and member of the British Speed Skiing team, will be in a very stationary position on Friday November 6th at the Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Show at Battersea Park, London.

He’ll be demonstrating the SkiA Ski Trainer and answering questions about how it benefits his training and applies to skiing well over 200 km’s per hour.

We are inviting members of the media and the public attending the show to come along and meet Jan to talk about the new winter season and how he’s going for some new world records this winter.

Jan comments:

Training for speed skiing takes a lot of preparation as it’s a very physically demanding sport – strength and balance are the main requirements, but you need to be mentally prepared too. Hopefully I can give people a better understanding of this sport and break down some of the myths surrounding it.

Jan will be on the SkiA Ski Trainer stand (OC12 – in the outdoor area) on Friday November 6th between 16.00 and 17.00 Hrs.
