Peak Performance Takes Home Gold ISPO Award

Peak Performance is awarded Gold Winner in the ISPO AWARD 2016/17 for the Milan Jacket in the category Lifestyle and Fashion. It’s the third year the brand is awarded the prestigious Gold Award, which once again shows that Peak Performance is at the forefront of technical and innovative design.

The Gold Award in the Lifestyle and Fashion category shows the wide range of our brand. The Milan jacket is a key piece in our 30 year anniversary collection as well as a key product for the future

says Nicolas Warchalowski, CEO of Peak Performance.

Milan Jacket

Milan is a 3-in-1 jacket designed for both urban life and skiing. It exemplifies the knowledge, expertise and technical material development needed for a product to move seamlessly and without compromises, between two very different environments, the city and the great outdoors.

The shell, crafted from Japanese Gore C-knit for optimal performance and durability, boasts a contemporary and minimalist design which makes a statement in both environments. It sports a long and sculptured silhouette which is tailored to perfection for complete freedom of movement. Technical details include: large protective hood, laser cut vent holes over mouth and nose for air flow and Aquaguard zips.

The windproof bomber style liner features innovative closed cell Aerogel insulation, exclusive to Peak Performance. The Aerogel insulation is unique as it is not sensitive to moisture, does not require loft in order to insulate and is 2-8 times more effective than traditional thermal insulation.

This is a new level of multipurpose apparel with respect for form, function and usability. To design a sophisticated jacket for the city with full ski functionality is a great challenge and exactly what gets us going. The shell features a futuristic aesthetic with attitude, and the bomber style liner features ground-breaking, stretchy Aerogel insulation that breathes. You can’t wish for a better jacket than Milan

says Staffan Thomasson, senior designer at Peak Performance.

The Milan Jacket is a key piece in Peak Performance 30 year Anniversary collection which will be launched in November 2016.
