About Action Outdoors

Action Outdoors is the UK arm of non-profit French government owned UCPA – their centres are located in some of the very best ski resorts in the Alps, such as Val d’Isère, Chamonix, Les Arcs and Val Thorens.

All of these centres offer three meals a day of exceptional quality, an in-house ski school, ski equipment hire, evening entertainment and with some 7 night holidays including full-board accommodation, ski passes, instruction and equipment starting at below £500 per person, it’s understandable when you hear that Action Outdoors is one of the UK’s fastest growing ski tour operators.

The UCPA centres vary in size and age, but they are all maintained to a very high standard – one thing they do have in common is that most of the accommodation is on a shared basis, with 4 or 6 people to a room typical. They all have twin room options as well, for a modest supplement.

Qualified ski or snowboard instructors are available at every centre and they teach lessons at every level from complete beginner, right up to expert off-piste adventurer or ski tourer.

The in-house ski and snowboard shop has a selection of rental equipment included in the price.

Meals are buffet style but plentiful, healthy food with an extensive choice of dishes including starters, main courses and desserts are served daily. With all meals included in the price, it’s worth heading back for lunch.
