New accommodation for outdoor adventures launches in the heart of the Highlands ready for the summer season.
Established outdoor hub, Braemar Mountain Sports has launched a range of self-catering accommodation that provides all year round comfort within easy access of a range of activities in the Highland region of Scotland.
The cabins are all built to the highest specification and are designed for individuals, couples and families and can also offer disabled access. There are four cabins sleeping between two and four persons over two floors – with a well equipped kitchen and wet room shower. There is also a larger property (Auld Bank House) sleeping up to eight people.
The cabins are available to hire on a weekly or long weekend basis and prices start from £168 per cabin for a long weekend.
The town of Braemar is situated on the edge of the Cairngorm Mountains National Park and is approximately two hours drive north of Edinburgh. Nearby Aberdeen Airport (1 hr 20 min drive) is served by several airlines from the South of England including British Airways (Heathrow), Flybe (London City and Heathrow) and Easy Jet (Gatwick).
Operations Manager of Braemar Mountain Sports, Lee Hardy, comments:
It’s fantastic to see the cabins finished and our first guests arriving – now the snow has melted it’s time to get the bikes out and enjoy all the outdoor activities that’s on offer here. The cabins themselves look great with a natural wood cladding that fits nicely into the surrounding area.
