Free Race Training Introduced For Ski Instructors This Summer In Tignes

Snoworks are offering FREE ski coaching for instructors training towards their Eurotest and Test Technique examinations this summer for the very first time, on the extensive Tignes glacier high in the French Alps.

The Eurotest, a timed Giant Slalom run, is an integral part of the International Ski Teaching Diploma for instructors looking to complete their highest level of qualifications that enable them to work freely and independently in France and other countries around the world. Passing the Eurotest requires an exceptionally high level of Alpine ski racing ability and therefore professional training is an essential element for success.

There’s no catches, training will be provided absolutely free of charge to instructors wishing to participate – limited spaces are available, and instructors who are interested should contact Phil Smith at Snoworks immediately.

Costs of travel, ski passes and accommodation will have to be met, but the normal 5 day training cost of £250 will be saved – self-catering accommodation starts at £60 per person on a twin occupancy basis.

Director of Snoworks Ski Courses, Phil Smith, comments:

We want to give ski instructors access to affordable training to help them become fully qualified and therefore we have introduced, for the first time, our free training weeks during the summer in Tignes. This also provides the opportunity for us to introduce them to our philosophies and help them develop as ski teachers.
