Decathlon Hosts Winners At The Snow Centre On Tuesday December 5th.

Press invitation to attend The Snow Centre on Tuesday December 5, 2017 to meet Olympic skier Graham Bell and get a chance to ski with the winners of Decathlon’s school competition.

Ardley Hill Academy School, Dunstable, have won a competition for thirty of their pupils to try skiing for the first time at The Snow Centre, Hemel Hempstead.

Decathlon would like to invite you along to participate in this event, meet Graham and hear about Decathlon’s plan to help introduce winter sports to a larger number of people through their great value ski and snowboard brand, Wedze.

The competition encouraged children to draw themselves participating in their favourite sports. Winners were decided following their submissions to a judging panel at Decathlon.

There’s Three Prizes On Offer

1st Prize: Half Day Ski Event (including ski lessons from instructors at The Snow Centre)
2nd Prize: £350 Decathlon School Equipment
3rd Prize: £150 Decathlon School Equipment

Graham Bell said:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a school to give some of their pupils the chance to try skiing in their local area. Many people don’t realise that it’s possible to get into skiing or snowboarding in the UK, without necessarily having to head out to another country and I’m delighted to be involved with this project that will help get more kids into winter sports.”
