September 14 2019 – The Time of Cornalin

Crans-Montana and the Valais region is well-known for its excellent wines that are highly regarded, but hard to source outside of Switzerland.

But every year the region celebrates its oldest and most prestigious red wine: the Cornalin. The hamlet of Flanthey, home of Cornalin, invites members of the public to discover local wines and regional food products, including wild game and mountain cheese raclette with Cornalin bread, during this one day festival.

Both wine tasting (purchase a refillable glass for CHF 20 per person) and buying is possible, in a relaxed environment that includes live music, games and a children’s play area.
