Scandinavian Travel is a specialist tour operator, based in the UK that offers holidays to the Nordic countries.
The holidays operate under own brand names – Ski Norway, Ski Finland, Ski Sweden, Ski Iceland and Cloudberry Journeys and offer tailor-made trips with exceptional attention to detail and high levels of service throughout the customer’s holiday.
Customers of Scandinavian Travel are predominantly families, but not exclusively so. Cloudberry Journeys specialises in adventurous, luxury tours to special and interesting destinations. Ski Norway, Ski Sweden and Ski Finland all offer unique skiing experiences that are designed by industry experts, passionate and highly knowledgeable of each individual country and region.
There’s a ski holiday to suit everyone. The team based in the resort of Trysil, Norway, has its own childcare staff facilities and its own ski school, whilst for the more adventurous, The Arctic Haute Route – an epic journey by ship inside the Arctic Circle – is designed for ski tourers looking for a bucket list style holiday.
The new Scandinavian Mountains Airport that opens in December 2019 will be a major feature for Scandinavian Travel guests this winter and beyond. The state-of-the-art airport serves resorts in Sweden and Norway including Sälen (Sweden) and Trysil (Norway), bringing the ski slopes within some of the shortest transfer times available in Europe.
All holidays are 100% carbon neutral – the first Scandinavian tour operator to offer its clients the chance to completely off-set their carbon footprint and still a leader in this area. The Carbon Neutral holidays were launched in 2017 and have now offset over 600 tonnes of carbon. The projects supported since 2017 have planted 250 trees in the UK, protected the same number in the Amazon, helped the development of solar power projects in India, and repaired boreholes in Uganda.
Scandinavian Travel is a registered member of ABTA and AITO, and holds an ATOL licence.
Scandinavian Travel prides itself on providing unrivalled service from the initial booking enquiry and throughout the whole travel experience. Their knowledge of the regions they work with is based on first-hand local experience from living, working and travelling extensively across Scandinavia. Experiences that allow them to craft innovative and original holidays.
