Ski clothing brand, Maier Sports, has launched its new winter range that includes a number of ski touring related garments, ideal for first time ski tourers, including jackets, trousers and mid layers, alongside winter walking trousers that are also suitable for any mountain weather.
With a recent survey conducted by the Ski Club of Great Britain suggesting around 30% of skiers would like to try ski touring (18% of respondents participated last winter), it’s clear that the activity is the fastest growing area of the sport and set to continue rising as skiers search for adventure and a way to increase exercise.

The touring pants are also highly breathable, as well as wind and weatherproof, thanks to the mTEX 20.000 membrane. They are made from 58% recycled PES fibres, the finish is completely PFC-free and the production method uses less water and adhesives. Technical details make the NARVIK perfect for touring. The snow guards with non-slip rubber on the ankles prevent snow from getting in, while an integrated zip provides external leg ventilation.
