We’re delighted to announce that Henry Druce, former Head of Ski Content at The Telegraph and editor of Daily Mail Ski and Snowboard magazine, is joining Ski Press as PR Manager. Henry’s knowledge and passion for skiing and the ski industry is deeply embedded, and he brings a wealth of experience to the team, as well as a huge list of contacts and funky coloured shirts, especially on Fridays. Henry is a self-confessed ski and mountain bike addict, as well as a coffee aficionado – he’ll fit right in. He’ll be taking on the role while maintaining his existing position as Managing Editor at InTheSnow.
Rob Stewart, Ski Press co-founder, said:
“It’s exciting to have Henry on-board with us following what has been a challenging year in the travel industry. As we move towards the winter season of 2021-22 and beyond, it’s going to be crucial for us to be there for our clients, helping to get their brands, destinations and travel operations in front of consumers again – and I can think of no one better than Henry to help us do that. Post Covid and Brexit, now more than ever, it’s going to take specialist businesses that know their industry inside and out to help navigate both clients and journalists efficiently and effectively to ensure they get the best possible experience and outcomes. Henry will play a big part in helping us to create our vision of being the very best winter sports and mountain destination media brand in the UK”.
Henry Druce said:
“I’m besotted with skiing and the skiing industry and will bring energy, creativity and boundless enthusiasm to any Ski Press accounts I manage. I have watched Ski Press grow over the last 10 years and always been impressed with Rob’s professionalism, knowledge and ability to carve a far better turn on the slopes than me”.
