USA Hall of Fame skier, Dan Egan, has teamed up with operator AlpinLuxe to offer three weeks of skiing alongside other legends of the sport including Donna Weinbrecht (Gold medal mogul skier) and Marcus Caston (professional freeride skier).
Spread across three different resorts, including LAAX and Engelberg (Switzerland) and Val d’Isère (France), each week will focus on a specific program.
LAAX is host to ‘The Art of Carving’, with Egan and Gary Miller (former US team coach) and Engelberg is all about the ‘Steep and Deep’ with Egan and Caston taking the lead. The Val d’Isère spring week will see Weinbrecht celebrate 30 years since her gold medal in the 1992 Winter Olympic Games in Tignes.
The fully inclusive packages with AlpinLuxe are focused on a high-end experience with gourmet food and luxury accommodation in each resort. There’s a partnership with New England apparel brand, Alps & Meters, with exclusive discounts and giveaways included with all bookings.
Dan Egan, who has been involved with putting together all three weeks, said:
“Join us for some fantastic skiing in some of Europe’s top resorts this winter – whether you want to improve carving skills in LAXX or ride some of the steep and deep slopes of Engelberg, or have fun in the spring snow with Donna Weinbrecht as she celebrates her gold medal that was won 30 years back. AlpinLuxe has put together great packages that take care of everything. This is a chance to improve your skiing skills with some of the best coaches out there.”
