A mid-week February half-term holiday break made p A mid-week February half-term holiday break made possible to Muttereralm with lower priced flights into Innsbruck and a 20 minute drive to the ski resort with fantastic views over the city. Muttereralm’s ski area might not be the largest but it has some really long runs gladded through the forest and two high speed gondolas to whisk you back up again. We took a group of journalists on a dual destination trip to Les Gets and Chatel, skiing across the Portes du Soleil and staying in both resorts over 4 days. Staying in the lovely Chalet Bluebell in Les Gets, experiencing the comedy festival and the fantastic slopes with views to Mont Blanc. Then out guides, Swiss Tony (yes he exists) with a hand over to Popeye (yes him too), leading us from one destination to the next. The traditional village of Chatel never disappoints and we zig zagged across from France and into Switzerland and sampled the amazing traditional food from this cheese farming valley. @lesgetsofficiel @chaletbluebell @chatel_officiel @portesdusoleil #skiing #comedyfestival @skiset #snowsports #cateredchalet #spevent #presstrip
