Mountain Tracks – the specialist ski touring and off-piste holiday company operated by the Ski Club of Great Britain, has launched a new holiday that is based on a yacht high up in the Arctic Circle.

The 7 night trip includes 5 days of guiding around Øksfjord, Nuvsvag, Ullsfjord and Bergsfjord, mooring in remote bays that are only accessible by boat.

The area is home to many high mountain peaks and is known for its variety, offering wide-open meadows, smooth bowls and steep couloirs. Because of the unique microclimate, the region receives a lot of snow and due to its northern latitude – ski touring from sea to summit is possible until late in May and conditions normally remain excellent.

This trip is most suited to experienced off-piste skiers that have done some ski touring in the past.

April 23, 2023, £3,195pp including 7 nights Moondance yacht accommodation plus all facilities and yacht crew, 5 guided days with IFMGA guide, all meals during the trip including 2 alcoholic beverages per day, airport transfers. Ski touring equipment and suitable clothing is not included.

Travel Information
Flights are not included in the price but a group transfer from Alta Airport is included.
